What is PoSH Dual Certification?

PoSH Dual Certification combines two distinct professional capabilities: delivering PoSH learning sessions and supporting structured workplace inquiries. The trainer pathway develops facilitation, legal explanation, session design, activity-led learning and the ability to handle sensitive participant questions. The investigator pathway develops complaint assessment, inquiry planning, interviewing, evidence review, natural justice, findings and report-writing discipline.

The programme is designed for HR, L&D and compliance professionals, Internal Committee members, lawyers and independent consultants whose roles may require both capabilities. It does not replace an organisation’s legal responsibilities or role-specific advice. Instead, it gives participants a practical framework, guided exercises and tools they can apply within their authorised workplace role.

Build two professional capabilities in one pathway

The two learning tracks remain clearly separated so participants understand where training delivery ends and inquiry responsibility begins.

PoSH Train the Trainer

Learn to explain the PoSH framework accurately, structure employee and manager sessions, use activities with purpose, facilitate difficult discussions and respond to questions without creating confusion or overstepping your role.

PoSH Investigator

Learn to frame an inquiry, plan interviews, assess documents and testimony, apply principles of natural justice, distinguish facts from assumptions and write clear findings and reports within the organisation’s process.

What does the Dual Certification programme cover?

The curriculum is built around observable workplace tasks rather than generic legal theory.

Legal and role clarity

Understand the PoSH framework, workplace scope, prohibited conduct, reporting routes, Internal Committee responsibilities, confidentiality and the boundaries of a trainer’s or investigator’s role.

Facilitation and session design

Turn legal concepts into understandable workplace learning, plan audience-appropriate sessions, use scenarios responsibly and manage difficult or emotionally charged questions.

Inquiry planning and interviews

Clarify allegations, define scope, prepare an inquiry plan, conduct fair interviews, record relevant information and maintain a process that gives each party a reasonable opportunity to respond.

Evidence, findings and reports

Organise records, assess relevance and consistency, avoid unsupported conclusions, document reasoning and write structured findings that authorised decision-makers can understand.

Who should choose this dual pathway?

Dual Certification is a strong fit when your work genuinely spans both education and inquiry support. Typical participants include:

  • HR and L&D professionals who conduct awareness sessions and coordinate complaint-handling processes.
  • Internal Committee members who want stronger communication and inquiry discipline.
  • Compliance professionals responsible for preventive training, documentation and case governance.
  • Lawyers and independent consultants building both facilitation and workplace-inquiry capability.

If your goal is only training delivery, choose the PoSH TTT programme. If your goal is only inquiry work, choose the PoSH Investigator programme.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to common questions about eligibility, certification and cohort selection.

Is Dual Certification the same as TTT?

No. TTT is centred on training delivery. Dual Certification combines trainer development with a separate investigator learning track covering inquiry planning, interviews, evidence, fairness and report writing.

Do I need previous PoSH experience?

Prior exposure is useful but may not be mandatory for every cohort. The programme team confirms prerequisites, expected preparation and learning level in the cohort brief before registration.

Is this suitable for IC members?

It can be suitable for IC members who need both communication and inquiry capability. Participation does not change the authority, composition or responsibilities assigned by the organisation and applicable law.

Will I receive two certificates?

The programme covers both trainer and investigator tracks. Certificate structure, assessment requirements and inclusions are confirmed in the specific cohort brief so you can review them before paying or registering.

How do I choose a city cohort?

Select Gurugram / Delhi NCR or Hyderabad in the enquiry form. The team will share the next available dates, venue or format, fee, prerequisites and registration steps for that location.

Is this a substitute for legal advice?

No. The programme develops professional capability and process understanding. Organisations and authorised functionaries remain responsible for obtaining role-specific legal advice where needed.

Built around the PoSH Act framework

The learning architecture refers to the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and practical responsibilities connected with prevention and workplace inquiries. For the authoritative statutory text, read the PoSH Act on India Code.
