What is POCSO?

The Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) is a legal framework that safeguards children from sexual abuse and exploitation. Introduced in 2012, POCSO Act was a pivotal response to the rising cases of child sexual abuse in India. In fact, it supersedes all laws meant to safeguard the interest of children. With a strong focus on creating a child-friendly legal process, POCSO ensures that children’s rights to safety and dignity are upheld.

Comprehensive Coverage

Our POCSO Train The Trainer is designed to educate stakeholders on the key provisions of the act, including:

  • Understanding different forms of child sexual abuse under POCSO.
  • Reporting mechanisms and mandatory responsibilities of adults.
  • Gender-neutral approaches to protecting all children.
  • Court procedures and child-friendly legal frameworks.
  • Support framework to reinstate confidence and rehabilitation in society.

Why POCSO Matters?

With the rise of child sexual abuse cases across India, it’s essential to have a legal framework that specifically addresses the issue. POCSO ensures that child victims of abuse receive the protection and justice they deserve while holding perpetrators accountable. This law aims to create a society where children can grow up in a safe, dignified environment

Children trust us—often without knowing how much.
This session is for those who want to make sure that trust is never misplaced.

Let’s learn how to protect, respond, and create ecosystems that don’t just talk about safety, but actually live it.
